Join an Unforgettable Board Game Convention Experience

We’re excited to offer a limited number of exhibitor spaces—just four per convention—at HandyCon.

  • Are you a game designer looking to share your latest project on Kickstarter or a published game?

    ​

    Do you have quirky, eye-catching merch that gamers will adore?

    ​

    Join us as an exhibitor and connect with our fantastic board game community! 

    • Exhibitor Space:
      2.5m x 2.5m of premium space, conveniently located just outside the main entrance room or near the playtest area. This high-visibility location is the perfect spot to showcase your products.
       

    • Tickets:
      Includes one full weekend ticket to HandyCon.
      If you need more tickets for your team, up to 3 additional passes can be purchased at half-price each.
       

    • Opening Hours:
      Exhibit from 9 AM to 5:30 PM each day.
       

    • Setup and Tear Down:
      Setup: From 8:30 AM on Friday.
      Tear Down: Must be completed by 6 PM on Sunday.

  • Price: £150
     

    Add-Ons:

    • Furniture Package: Add 1 table and 4 chairs for an additional £10 to set up your booth in style and comfort. A tablecloth is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

    • Additional Passes: Extra passes for your team can be purchased at a discounted half price each. (Up to 3 Passes)

  • ​To apply for a spot, please register your interest in the 2025 conventions you’d like to attend. If spaces for the nearest upcoming event are fully booked, we’ll be happy to consider your application for future dates.

    Fill out the application form and tell us what you would like to offer to the HandyCon community and which dates you’re interested in joining.
    **You’ll be able to access the form once you log in.

    - Step 3- 
    If your application is successful, we’ll email you with the next steps to get you all set up.
     
    What to Expect Next:

    • Once we’ve reviewed the applications, we’ll get in touch if you’ve been selected. Thank you for your patience—it may take a little time to process applications, especially depending on the date you selected.

    • If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please let us know via email.

Playtest Zone

PLAYTEST YOUR GAME AT HANDYCON

The Playtest Zone at HandyCon is a dedicated space for game designers to test their board games in development and gather valuable feedback from both experienced and new players.

  • The Playtest Zone is all about creativity and collaboration, providing a space where game designers can test their ideas and gather valuable feedback with the support of our welcoming community.

    ​

    If your game could benefit from player feedback, this is the perfect place to test it! We love seeing designers return to the Playtest Zone after making improvements based on feedback, and attendees enjoy the chance to try updated versions as well.

    ​

    Important Note: Finished games, games on Kickstarter, or published games (ready for sale or currently on sale) are not allowed at the Playtest tables. If you’d like to showcase or demo a completed game or promote a product, we encourage you to apply for an Exhibitor space instead.

    • Includes:
      1x 6ft rectangular table.
      4x Chairs.
      1x Tablecloth, but you are welcome to supply your own.
       

    • Opening Hours:
      They run from 10 AM – 5 PM
       

    • Setup and Tear Down:
      Setup: from 9:00 AM.
      Tear Down: by 6 PM.
       

    • ​Does not include/allow:
      -> The exhibiting of published games or finished designs.
      -> Entry tickets are required in addition to booking playtest tables for each person.
      -> Selling.
      -> Space for more than one roll banner.

  • We have 5 Playtest tables available per day.
     

    • Playtest Table: £10 per Day. 
      *Each Game Designer is allocated one table per day and can test multiple games as long as they fit within the designated table space.
       

    • Tickets: To make things easier, you can request tickets for the convention when applying for a Playtest table. This ensures you have access even if tickets sell out. You’re welcome to order tickets in advance or during your application.
      Important note: Requesting tickets via our Playtest application form doesn’t guarantee you tickets unless your application is successful. If you’re planning to attend HandyCon regardless, we recommend ordering your tickets in advance.

    Update: We want to give as many Playtesters as possible the opportunity to participate, so we may limit Playtest tables to a maximum of 2 days per convention per Game Designer. To help everyone plan ahead, the application form is now open for all 2025 dates.
