Why is it called Handycon Noir?
"Well, nothing much will change for the attendees. It will still be a normal HandyCon with all the usual fun. But we like to have little themes for each event to keep them fresh." - Paul FH.

If you are playing any 1940s and 50s games during the weekend, we'd love to hear about them. We would love black and white photos of your game playing to be submitted throughout the weekend.
Social Media Tips:
Stories (disappear in 24h) - please tag us in your photos! If your profile is public, it also allows us to share your story.
Regular Post (Timeline) - tag us in your photo or comments so we can spot your post.
Post on HandyCon Discussion Group - share your photos in the closed group. While we can see them, we won’t be able to share them directly.

Best Costume of the Weekend
We will reward the best costume with a free 3-day ticket for a future HandyCon convention.
🕵🏼♂️ If you’re unable to attend the Speakeasy Night, you can still participate by submitting your costume on social media.
📌 Prohibited Items: We kindly ask all attendees participating in the Noir theme costumes over the weekend to be mindful and avoid bringing any items that could resemble weapons. As our event is being held in a hotel, not all members of the public, staff, or other attendees will be aware of the theme, and we want to ensure no undue alarm is caused.
Additionally, if your costume includes cigars or similar props, please refrain from consuming them inside the hotel. There is a designated smoking area located a few metres outside the bar area.
